L0 - FRESH TO FRENCH

From the very first lesson you will learn to talk like native French do, using the vocabulary and expressions they use in their everyday life, focusing on the right pronunciation. Even with a limited vocabulary, you will be able to express yourself and have basic conversations about yourself, your family, your job, and to ask for directions in a city. The level L0 is the first step to building your confidence and feeling comfortable talking and understanding.

L1 - LET’S BUILT STRONG ROOTS

You will learn to be comfortable in everyday situations, going to the restaurant, booking a room in a hotel, buying train tickets, going to the doctor, etc. Grammar and conjugation are important parts of learning. Pronunciation is still essential. When you meet French people, there are rules and customs you must know to avoid embarrassing situations and to feel at ease.

At the end of this section, you will know enough vocabulary to say whatever you want to say even if, sometimes, you don’t know how to say it. You have learned to be quick and to adapt so that you don’t get stuck in the middle of a sentence.

Now embarrassment, nervousness or shyness are part of the past. Be proud of yourself and of your commitment that got you so far.

L2 - LET’S EXPAND YOUR BASIC KNOWLEDGE

When starting level L2, you are already comfortable freely expressing yourself in everyday situations. Now it’s time to leave your comfort zone and enter unprepared into conversations on topics that are more complex. There are still grammars and conjugation points you need to learn to complete your knowledge. Expanding your vocabulary has no end. You will cross the line between being a good speaker to being a very good speaker, able to master the nuances of the language, understanding the codes, and entering any debate with confidence.

L3 - FROM NOW ON, THE SKY IS THE LIMIT

You are fluent. All you need is keep practicing, meaning talking, reading, listening and writing. Let’s talk about articles in newspapers, books, movies. Let’s debate about social questions. Learn to agree or to disagree with the right arguments, adapting to the persons you are talking to. You are able to use the “nuances”, to choose a word rather than another one. It’s all about “finesse”.
